Manager of Medical Management needed for a permanent opportunity with Yoh's client located in Seattle, WA.
The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Management experience in a health care or managed care setting
- Case management experience
What You'll Be Doing:
- Plan, organize and manage the clinical operations, including utilization management, case management and concurrent review
- Provide oversight to Nurse Case Managers, MSWs and administrative staff
- Will collaborate with and report to the Medical Director
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Current Washington RN license
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing, management or healthcare-related field
- Certified Case Manager - CCM - preferred
- Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in health care, including experience working in a managed care environment, and interaction with provider committees
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate continuous process improvement into management of daily activities
- Ability to perform to NCQA standards
- Ability to work independently with good organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
