Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Portland, OR.
The Big Picture - Top Skills Should You Possess:
- Previous experience in Managed Care
- Current Pharmacy license
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist with the management of the pharmacy benefit and develop and deliver clinical and educational interventions designed to improve pharmaceutical use
- Responsible for formulary management; assisting with management of specific patients in the multidisciplinary case management/medication therapy management program; developing and conducting educational initiatives to improve prescribing patterns; develop and conduct quality improvement programs related to the pharmacy program; evaluating medication authorization requests and providing oversight to the medication PA process
- Prepare drug utilization reports and analyses for the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy, an advanced degree in pharmacy practice (Pharm.D, M.S., or Ph.D)
- Current unrestricted Pharmacy license
- Practical experience as a clinical pharmacist in formulary management or ambulatory care or other clinical setting
- At least one year of supervisory experience and experience in managed care is preferred
- Comprehensive, clinical pharmaceutical knowledge
