Call Center Support Nurse needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Philadelphia, PA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- First line response to medical information inquiries using MI database based on MI training and sign off.
- Triage more complex questions to appropriate therapeutic area MI specialist.
- Assist in capturing HCP's contact information prior to escalating to the appropriate TA.
- Triage misdirected calls to the appropriate departments for inquiries not related to Medical Information (e.g. Vaccine Service Center, GRC, Product Quality).
- Uses software applications to document call interactions into databases.
- Recognize and capture adverse events during HCP-engagement.
- Secondary role depending on call volume to Create & edit Medical Information responses within Webtop
- Complete all CIA requirements as a covered person.
- Applies knowledge and skills to routinely resolve customer questions.
- Applies judgment required to develop, modify and adapt procedures in order to most effectively meet demands of given situations.
- Incumbent does not have authority to make independent choices without immediate direction / supervision with respect to matters of significance.
- Nature of work can require minimal supervision; incumbent is largely self-directed and accountable for defined duties. Job requires use of independent judgment.
- May be recognized as an information resource within department and by others especially for immediate Therapeutic Area.
- Uses discretion and care on a regular basis when working with sensitiven/nconfidential data pertaining to the department or company.
- During HCP engagement, demonstrates ability to actively listen, understand the question asked provide an accurate answer to medical information inquiries and check with HCP to ensure response assisted in his/her clinical decision.
- Has thorough knowledge of the role and objectives of Medical Services and of organizational controls and reporting relationships.
- Demonstrates expertise in a full range of computer skills.
- Possesses professional interpersonal skills necessary to work with all levels of internal and external customers/stakeholders.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize multiple requests based on own judgment of importance/need to the customer or organization.
- Knowledge generally acquired with a RN / RPh / PharmD related work experience.
- Possesses experience with interactions with healthcare professional involving patient care.

- Must hold an active license to practice
