A Maintenance Technician with strong experience in both electrical and mechanical fields

Qualifications

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems.
  • Studies blueprints, sketches, machine parts, or specifications to determine defective items and repairs needed.
  • Visually inspects and tests machinery to detect or prevent wear, misalignment, or other problems.
  • Realigns and adjusts equipment and components. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
  • Assists engineering and production in modifications of machines and processes for improvement activities and launch of new equipment.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Detects equipment malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
  • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
  • Provide information to Spare Parts Crib to initiate purchase orders for repair or replacement parts.
  • Completes Emergency Work Orders and PMs.
  • Operate metal working tools and equipment to cut or join metal parts and components.
  • Follows all applicable company rules and safety policies.
  • Provides other maintenance, production, or operations support as directed by supervisor or management.
  • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment.
