MUST HAVE
- Quality Certification from ASQ: for Example: CQE (Certified Quality Engineer)

- Experience with Quality Documentation - PPAP, APQP
- Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop (will work on both an office and a shop floor
JOB OVERVIEW
- Reports to Quality Manager
- Support of the customers as well as the production departments by creating quality documents for production part approval process (PPAP) submissions, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), control plans and first article submissions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work under the guidance of the Quality Manager and develop quality documents
- Receive verbal instructions, customer specifications, and/or drawing from which to create quality documents for new product releases, engineering changes or manufacturing/production.
- Create PPAP, FMEA, First Article, Control Plans and other quality documents as needed.
- Assignments may include participation in FMEA teams, APQP meetings as well as other meetings and teams deemed necessary by the Lead Quality Engineer or Quality Manager.
- Be able to work independently, be able to manage small projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Understanding of mechanical drawings, tolerance techniques, manufacturing methods, GD&T and best practices of inspection techniques, timely and accurate document creation that reflect manufacturing and the designed gauging plan.
- Will manage 1-2 inspectors
