About this job
Responsibilities* Monitor and supervise campers (ages 6-11 years old) during scheduled camp hours; execute all camp activities; meet with camp director daily; submit required paperwork daily; attend weekly meeting(s); serve as a positive role model; represent Camp Summer Fun and the University in a positive manner on campus, visits to the cultural center, on all field trips, and with camp guests, bus drivers, parents/guardians, and campers.
Camp runs weekdays July 6 - 31, 2015. Additional orientation dates before start of camp to be determined.
Desired Qualifications* Enrolled as a current UM-Flint student, preferably studying Education; have experience working with elementary school-aged children; ability to communicate with adults and children; creative; problem-solver; positive attitude; teachable; flexible; and patient. Previous experience working with children also preferred.
