Global medical device company is seeking to add several Electrical Design Engineers to their organization. This position involves the full electrical design of a class II medical device product.
Responsibilities:
- Electrical Engineer will be responsible for full electrical design of a class II medical device product.
- Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the entire life-cycle including requirements, development, testing and releasing.
- This position involves sustaining engineering, RF and Wireless design, EMI, EMC, board layout and design, and schematic capture.
- This role is sustaining engineering of existing electronic components inside current medical products.
- Electrical Engineer will be heavily responsible for diagnosis of issues within the product and figuring out how to reverse engineer the electrical board to meet FDA processes and standards. Electrical Engineer will be working to get into the root cause of the issue.
Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineer must have a minimum education of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or within a related field
- Electrical Engineer must have 10+ years of experience working within a Medical OR highly regulated industry (Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, etc.)
- Electrical Engineer must have proven experience re engineering and diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, and designing electrical boards for analog and digital design.
- Electrical Engineer must have proven experience with both analog and digital design.
