An Aerospace Manufacturing Company in Philadelphia, PA is looking to hire a "Supplier Performance Specialist / Supplier Quality Engineer" to interview and start work as soon as possible.

Required Travel: 50 - 75% of the time.

Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree in business. May substitute degree with comparable experience in the field
  2. Three or more years of experience in any of the business functions (to include) Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, and Quality Assurance.
  3. At least one year of field auditor experience preferred, preferably in an Aerospace or Automotive Environment.
  4. Working knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP system.
  5. Supplier relationship skills to facilitate collaborative agreements with suppliers
  6. Ability to travel Travel the Required 50% to 75% of the time.

Job Description:

  1. Performing duties related to improving Delivery, Quality and TAT performance with critical supplier. This includes the tactical planning of supplier visits, collaboration with key stakeholders and business teams to implement improvement plans.
  2. Perform & Support Supplier audits and rate readiness assessment related to Supplier's manufacturing and business systems for new and existing suppliers to meet global needs.
  3. Prepare weekly updates/briefs and reporting to distribute to Supplier Performance Manager for global communication for North America supply base.
  4. Manage supplier performance by identifying gaps within the supply chain, analysis of KPI, and internal reporting to determine root cause in order to create and implement improvement plans to close the supplier performance gap and meet business needs.
  5. Provide support to commodity management for supply chain and business criticality, as well as new product development and introduction.
