Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:

The Strategic Account Executive position will be responsible for retaining, growing, and selling CVS Caremark Specialty pharmacy/medical benefit management solutions to existing PBM health plan clients.

Position will have national responsibility, and will work closely with the PBM Account Team, as the team lead in growing Specialty business.

The individual must own specialty business relationship, be viewed as the specialty subject matter expert, establish strong client and internal relationships, effectively lead the process of working cross functionally across Sales, Clinical, ANCS, Specialty Ops, Underwriting & Executive Management.

Performance of the Account Executive is based upon individual's ability to gain new specialty market share for CVS Caremark, by executing upon the Health Plan Client pharmacy/medical benefit strategy. Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of Specialty/PBM experience, working with Health Plan Clients on executing pharmacy/medical benefit strategies.

The individual must have Specialty Rx experience with strong CVS Caremark Enterprise, PBM and Health Plan understanding. Requirements include: Strong presentation skills, including written/verbal communication, and effective time management.

CLIENT FACING ROLE - Travel is required, and estimated at 25%. Preferred Qualifications:

A proven track record developing and deploying Specialty Rx sales plans resulting in increased sales and improved client satisfaction.

Strong business/financial skills, balanced with specialty market knowledge and match pace lead selling skills and execute client strategy.

Desired qualifications of Health Plan medical benefit management experience executing strategies on medical carve out, site of care, home infusion, ambulatory infusion and understanding multiple contractual medical benefit relationships with Health Plans. Education:

Bachelor's degree required. RPh or MBA preferred but not necessary. Business Overview:
