CAO - PMO Team Project Support

The Oversight and Control Group's primary function is to solidify an effective Firmwide control framework, looking within and across the lines of business, to identify and remediate control issues with a sense of urgency regardless of the source. The Team partners with all other control disciplines, adding an additional line of defense supporting Compliance, Risk and Audit, among others. The Team works in partnership on the development of new, and oversight of existing, control functions and protocols throughout the Firm and provides a centralized view of and from all control functions, assisting in immediate, real time problem detection and escalation. The O&CG partners closely with the Audit and Risk Committees, the Operating Committee, and the Board of Directors of JP Morgan Chase, and all Lines of Business, Legal, Compliance and Technology as well as other groups within the Firm.

Specifically, the Chief Administrative Office is a newly formed group within the Central Team that supports Governance, Business Management, Training, Firmwide Initiatives and the QA and KEYS processes. The Program Management Office (PMO) Team manages the Firmwide Initiatives Group to deliver complex cross-Line of Business risk and controls projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with PMO and support team, performing reviews of PMO-managed projects (Third Party Oversight, New Business Initiatives, and others)

Assist project teams with the review of all significant deliverables

Develop project plans, issue lists, risk logs and other project artifacts

Create presentation materials for relevant projects

Assist in the development of metrics, and a monthly governance package

Update and maintain PMO Sharepoint sites

Provide support for projects enhancing technology to support a PMO

Assist in developing BAU models for the above efforts and transitioning them to BAU

QUALIFICATIONS

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Visio, Projects

Excellent interpersonal skills including a professional and diplomatic demeanor. Must possess relationship-building skill in order to work with diverse subject matter experts and internal clients.

Experience in project management, with skills necessary to interpret what is needed for the success of a project and to create appropriate schedules for timely delivery

Very high level of organizational and time management skills

Flexibility in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations
