About this job
Laboratory is in need of two Laboratory Assistants / Processors to perform daily sample processing.
Candidates will sort specimens by source (hair, oral fluid, urine, etc.) and store/discard negative or positive samples in fridge/freezer
Job duties may also include sorting and receiving specimens, perform routine insturment maintenance on some equipment, peform laboratory tasks of centrifuging specimens, printing labels, recording data.
Candidate will also perform data entry of speciemsns as well as communicate with clients to resolve any issues or questions.
Candidate must have minimum of High School Diploma or equiivalent and have excellent communication skills
Understanding of laboratory practices is desired.
Hours are
Tuesday - Saturday 5am - 1:30pm
