Solderer 1st Shift M-F 7:30am - 4:00pm (occasional overtime when needed)

This company has a large number of radio's that need to be assembled, tested and validated. As a result they are moving one of their current employees to an assembly role and this is creating an opening in the Soldering area.

Currently assignment is expected to last 6-8 weeks but could certainly go longer.

Will be responsible for soldering on circuit boards

Melts and applies solder along adjoining edges of workpieces to solder joints, using soldering iron, gas torch, or electric-ultrasonic equipment.

Grinds, cuts, buffs, or bends edges of workpieces to be joined to ensure snug fit, using power grinder and hand tools.

Melts and separates soldered joints to repair misaligned or damaged assemblies, using soldering equipment.

Will be crimping wires - need that experience

Will be doing basic assembly of transponders and beacons. Might be attaching two parts together with screws, placing a pc board, battery, or running a wire.
