Position Description
The Project Manager, Sourcing - Global Food Sourcing is responsible for supporting the Sourcing team in sourcing functions. This position collaborates with stakeholders to create a culture of speed, quality, safety, and environmental sustainability around Global Food Sourcing. This position provides subject matter expertise in the execution of action plans and is responsible for modeling compliance with company standards. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities Manages the execution of Global Food Sourcing projects or programs.  Collaborates with cross-functional teams (for example, sourcing, replenishment, pricing, planning, merchants, vendors) to gather and validate vendor capacity and financial condition information.  Understands vendors’ 5-year plan and serves as the daily contact for vendors.  Reviews action items.  Manages program calendar, project timelines and activities to ensure critical paths for milestones are met.  Enters supplier information into a matrices and audits for item, cost, and week alignments.  Enters cost matrix information into system and audits that information.  Develops compiled project or program information and presents it to cross-functional teams and leadership. Manages the vendor on-boarding process and provides periodic updates.  Issues contracts to vendors.  Manages aggregated product profit and loss (P&L) and Distribution Center (DC) service levels.  Collaborates with suppliers to ensure timely compliance with orders, deliveries and costs. Provides reports to leadership regarding grower and commodity performance.  Obtains and validates multiple points of information (for example, financial, vendor capacity) for use in negotiations with vendors.  Provides subject matter expertise and performs analytics to support supply chain and optimal inventory levels and packages for negotiation use.  Attends vendor negotiation meetings and provides post-meeting assessments of vendor position.  Escalates grower and commodity performance issues to management.  Coordinates and participates in weekly calls with merchants to gather information and resolve issues.  Reviews and suggests products to advise team and commodity coordinator of best alternatives for product or supply. and duties as assigned and/or necessary  Travels domestically to and from multiple facilities or work-sites requiring consecutive overnight stays.  Travels internationally to and from multiple facilities or work-sites requiring extended overnight stays
Minimum Qualifications
 Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field OR 2 years experience in replenishment, commodity sourcing or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
 3 years experience in replenishment, commodity sourcing or related field.  Management Professional (PMP) certification.
