The Clinical Quality Consultant will be responsible for program implementation and provider performance management which is tracked by designated provider metrics, inclusive minimally of 4 STAR gap closure and coding accuracy. You will work directly with care providers to build relationships, ensure effective education and reporting, proactively identify performance improvement opportunities through analysis and discussion with subject matter experts; and influence provider behavior to achieve needed results.

Requirements

Required Qualifications



  • 3+ years of STARS experience

  • 5+ years associated business experience within health care industry

  • Knowledge base of clinical standards of care, preventive health, and STARS measures

  • Strong relationship building skills with clinical and non-clinical personnel. Demonstrated ability to interact with medical staff, peers, and internal company staff at all levels

  • Strong communication and presentation skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint

Preferred Qualifications



  • Registered Nurse with current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Idaho

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Strong knowledge of the Medicare market, products and competitors

  • Experience in managed care working with network and provider relations/contracting

  • Professional experience persuading changes in behavior

  • Ability to solve process problems crossing multiple functional areas and business units
