The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with our Operational, Technology and Quality Control teams in delivering enterprise-class operational solutions across Optum360.  The ideal candidate should have experience working in an Agile development lifecycle environment and possess the communication skills required to interact with various levels of the organization. The candidate will be a contributor in driving requirements which will be used by the larger Information technology team to create quality deliverables.

Ideally the candidate would work out of the Ashford Dunwoody Atlanta office.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyzing, reviewing, forecasting and trending complex data


• Presenting analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning


• Supporting short and long term operational/strategic business activities through analysis


• Developing recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field or equivalent work experience


• 3+ years of experience in healthcare/ business/finance analysis


• Experience gathering requirements from the client/business and documenting


• Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and /or evaluation of business processes


• Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel and PowerPoint)


• Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally


• Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SQL, Visio and MS Project a plus


• Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures
