To direct, promote, and coordinate wholesale and retail sales and marketing of petroleum products in a manner that will optimize the Company’s market share and savings, improve efficiency and help achieve the mission and goals resulting in company’s continued growth and profitability.

Job Description:

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of fuel, transportation/fleet and customer industry including key competitors, terminology, technology, trends, challenges, and government regulation; proven level of exceptional sales skills in completion of all aspects of the sales process; Demonstrating effective negotiation skills and ability to represent and promote Midland Oil Corporation & FuelMaster of America, LLC, in a professional manner. Ability to accomplish business development activities by researching, developing and implementing marketing opportunities and plans.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities involve marketing, profitability and sales, reporting, purchasing, resale pricing, maintenance, and other duties as assigned by management

• Responsible for overall marketing strategy and associated policies and practices for positioning of products or services.

• Drives business development, prospecting, networking and sales to ensure continuous improvement for the company.

• Evaluates market conditions, recommends and implements strategic and/or tactical changes to stimulate sales activities.

• Developing and managing the sales and marketing budget

• Position would be required to maintain relationships through communication, attending marketer/dealer/site meetings, develop in store product execution strategies/action plans, and ensure strategies are rolled out.

• Develop and maintain key external client relationships at site, marketer, and dealer levels.

• Identifying new market opportunities and new market trends.

• Securing new orders with new customers

• Maintaining and developing relationships with industry partners

• Building effective customer relationships, both externally and throughout the organization

• Being the voice of the company to this market, organizing and leading sales and marketing initiatives in the market and, in turn, being the voice of the market to the company.

• Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and forecasts of upcoming business, communicates with customers via phone.

• Interpret and negotiate contracts, operating agreements and other legal documents. Originate new business opportunities

• Conduct due diligence assistance on midstream acquisitions

• Negotiate with customers and suppliers to establish quotes and orders that will ensure a competitive price and highest profitability.

• Develop accounts by informing customers of all our value added services.

• Provide customers with information on products, pricing, and availability.

Organizational Skills:

• Should demonstrate knowledge of and ability to use tools, techniques and processes for exploring and developing potential areas of business growth for the organization.

• Leads in the evaluation of business development activities of industry leaders and key competitors.

• Advocates the development of new technologies and tools for business development.

• Contributes to the development and measurement of industry best practices for business development.

• Leads discussions on the historical background and future perspective of business development.

• Promotes an organization's business model for developing marketing strategies and objectives.

• 3+ years experience as a marketing executive in Wholesale and retail fuel business.

• Securing new orders with new customers

• High level of self-confidence and has ability to converse with anyone and put people at ease;

• Ability to speak persuasively and close deals; ability to understand company profitability statements and understand the key variables that influence profitability both within the sales department and for potential clients; ability to multitask;

• Should possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record;

• Should be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook; and sales management software.

• Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time

• Understanding of client operations, client culture, values, market strategies and customer base.

• Clear concise communication skills - both written and verbal

• Strong territory management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; reliability and sound judgment.
