Nurse Clinician - Inpatient Oncology

Research Medical Center is currently looking for a Nurse Clinician.
Responsibilities:
The
RN Clinician will provide assistance in planning, coordinating, and delivering
patient care for hospitalized hematology/oncology patients. They will collaborate with all members of the
healthcare team including physicians, nurses, navigators, bed managers, case
management, ancillary departments, and others to ensure continuity of care and
coordination of a wide variety of patient services. Responsibilities include coordinating patient
contact (pre, during, and post admission), scheduling and preparing patients
and families for tests/procedures in collaboration with other members of the
healthcare team, assisting with admission and discharge processes, identifying
and implementing ways to improve patient care services, and other duties as
requested by the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Bachelor's Degree in nursing required.
Current state of Missouri RN licensure
required. BLS certification required and
maintained. Oncology Certified Nurse
(OCN) required within 12 months of hire.
Certification in area of specialty preferred.
BLS certification required and maintained.
Two years clinical nursing experience in specialty area required.
