The Lead Physical Therapist to assist director with managerial duties
and supervise in director absence Managerial/supervisor assesses patients' physical
and functional needs; develops and implements care
plans; monitors and evaluates outcomes related to the
assessment; provides patient and staff education and
follows policies and procedures to ensure compliance
with regulatory agencies. To assist with supervising/assigning staff, customer service

The PT independently manages
his/her own patient caseload; provides services as part
of an interdisciplinary team, and plans, implements and
evaluates patient programs. The Physical Therapist adheres
to principles of evidence-based practice in daily decision making
and abides by the State Practice Act and the APTA
Code of Ethics. Follows policies and procedures of West
Florida Hospital. Participates in the Quality Improvement
process and adheres to WFH standards of behavior.
Manages stress appropriately, makes decisions under
pressure, handles multiple priorities, and works in areas that
are confined and /or crowded. Medium work with periods
of standing, lifting, stooping, bending, walking, reaching,
talking, answering telephones, using computer. Requires
good manual dexterity, clarity of vision, and ability to hear
normal speaking voices.
Attendance is essential to this role
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required;
a current and clear Florida Physical Therapist license
is required. BLS certification through American Heart
Association (AHA) is required
