As the Senior Financial Consultant/Manager within our Payment Integrity Eligibility Value Stream Operations group, you will be responsible for designing and delivering analytics and reporting of all programs that support the PI Eligibility Value Stream, including Coordination of Benefits, dependent eligibility and member fraud. You will manage and monitor program performance and create financial modeling using claims and other health care data, including eligibility and enrollment, group benefits, membership premiums, and member demographic profiles
Primary Responsibilities:

·         Forecast savings and utilization trends by creating financial models, using claims and other health care data to increase predictability and performance.

·         Produce and maintain business forecast models

·         Develop Eligibility Value Stream management reporting â€“ both detailed and executive summary levels

·         Identify and participate in new vendor initiatives

·         Assist in developing business segment-specific performance metrics to enable our team and other business leaders to make informed decisions

·         Work with business finance leaders to align program forecasting and benefit estimates

·         Generate and validate CBA's for new initiatives

·         Partner with internal and external stakeholders and vendors

·         Support multiple business segments (C&S, M&R, E&I) as the lead finance resource

·         Research, retrieve, design and deliver organized analytics and reporting of medical claims.

·         Analyze benchmarking data, reports, processes, and measurements

·         Review the analytics and reporting of others within the department

·         Independently interpret data, facts and surface trends within business performance

·         Coordinate and drive a variety of projects/requests simultaneously

·         Develop innovative approaches to achieve deliverables

·         Perform root cause analysis

·         Be sought out as the expert on healthcare cost trends/models by other departments in the organization

·         Serve as a leader/mentor to other analysts within the department

·         Perform all other related duties as assigned

Qualifications


 

·         Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business ; MBA preferred

·         5+ years of progressive professional experience with emphasis in financial analysis or other analytical functions

·         Ability to interact effectively with different business units, team members, and external client at all levels within an organization

·         Ability to take high level direction and drive results.

·         Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and set/meet critical deadlines.

·         Self starter, self directed, ability to work independently with minimal oversight

·         Ability to work in a matrixed environment

·         Ability to deal with ambiguity

·         Desire to make an impact, manage multiple tasks and shift priorities quickly

·         Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with all levels within an organization

·         Intermediate proficiency with analytical tools such as SAS, SQL

·         Expert/advanced level of proficiency with MS Office PowerPoint and Excel
