Description

The Report Delivery Team within the GCC Business Analytics Group - responsible for producing business and client level reporting, metrics, scorecards, dashboards, and trend analyses in support of the Sales, Relationship Management, and Operations teams within Global Commercial Card - is seeking an energetic, self-starting Performance Analyst with expertise in Commercial Card Operations and data management processes.

Using tools and reporting, the Global Commercial Card Performance Analyst in this role will assist management with strategic initiatives as well as execute tactical assignments. This position may also assist in the development of performance, quality, and risk reporting that will satisfy various business needs within Global Commercial Card.

Responsibilities - include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Use MS Access and MS Excel to import, arrange, manage, analyze, and interpret very large data sets
  • Produce dashboards and reporting packages
  • Work with multiple tools and data resources (e.g., IDW, SharePoint, TAWeb, etc.).
  • Perform trending analysis
  • Identify automation and efficiency opportunities
  • Provide recommendations on ways to reduce risk
  • Package and provide key data messages to management to enable sound business decisions

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess superior skills in building positive business partnerships, analyzing data and communicating results. Advanced MS Excel and MS Access skills are required; experience with SQL is preferred. Specific qualifications include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management
  • 3 to 5 years experience in Commercial Card Analysis & Reporting
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Access database skills
  • 1 -2 years experience with SQL programming recommended
  • Strong business analysis and operations management skills
  • Strategic thinking, problem solving and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple priorities
  • Ability to lead small projects, possess intellectual curiosity, and be able to independently identify financial issues and partner with appropriate groups for resolution
  • Highly organized as well as detailed and deadline oriented
  • Ability to see bigger picture while understanding the detail
  • High energy with an eagerness to learn new things
  • Ability to adapt to fast paced and ever-changing environment
  • Flexibility
  • Proven understanding of the Bank's systems, policies and processes
