Lead Process Technician - Full-time / Part-time

The Lead Process Technician will be responsible for setting up, starting up, and running and troubleshooting process for the injection molding machines, and also documenting the process. *Supervision of 1 or 2 people. *Scheduling production. *Working with machine operators. *Process materials for the injection molding machines. *Ensuring machines are filled with correct materials. *Runners are ground or thrown out, in accordance to customer specifications. *Making sure dryers are full for next shift. *Pre-drying for next material, (staging). Setting up, Starting up, Running and Trouble Shooting the Injection Molding Machines. *Installation of the mold in an injection molding machine. *Removal of the mold from the injection molding machine. *Starting up the mold in the injection molding machines. *Troubleshooting the molding process on the injection molding machines. *Complete process logs and set-up sheets, and monitor related information. *Ensures and performs mold maintenance. *Follow safety rules and procedures. *Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: *Leadership and supervisory skills. *Good communication skills. *Mechanical aptitude. *Knowledge of injection molding processing (such as temperature of tool, materials, etc.) *Lift minimum of fifty pounds. *Basic hand and eye coordination. *Basic computer knowledge of Scheduling / MRP, (IQMS is a plus). *Training skills. Ability to perform Machine Operator duties: *Remove parts from mold or retrieve from chute. *Inspect, trim, clean and package products to customer specifications. *Maintain process cycle times.
