About this job

Performs a wide range of duties related to the closing and funding of conventional, construction, and simple government residential mortgage loans. Prepares and audits closing documents in a timely manner and ensures integrity of data captured in processing/closing system. Communicates with escrow/title companies, loan originators, and other parties verifying all conditions and regulatory requirements are met. Obtains or requests any missing conditions. Reviews signed closing documents to approve loan funding and prepares for the disbursement of funds as per terms of the contract. Performs various post closing activities including auditing closed files, creating delivery-servicing packages, verifying all required documents are included in file, and following up to obtain any missing documents. Reviews funding and exception reports to ensure all funding and tasks are completed within appropriate time frames. Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 2 to 3 years experience. Knowledge of real estate documentation requirements and the closing process preferred. Requires strong organization skills and the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Proven computer skills.
