About this job
Aerotek has an immediate need for Structural Analyst / Stress Engineers to perform stress and loads analysis on mechanical systems including primary and secondary structures. Experience with analyzing mechanical components. NASTRAN / Patran experience 5-10 years experience. Must be able to perform hand calculations as well. Regular interaction with DERs/CVEs to assure documentation complies with applicable regulations
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in a technical/engineering field
Note: Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance is a must
9-12 month contracts if not longer!! .
Damaged tolerance experience a plus and Vibe and Flutter experience a plus.
Tools used include FEMAP, NASGRO, Catia and Microsoft excel. Damage tolerance / fatigue experience a plus.
Primary and Secondary structures experience, primary preferred.
