About the Role

eBay Enterprise Display is looking for talented sales professionals who are looking to build a career with one of the preeminent digital media companies in the world. We're looking for digital media professionals to help us build frictionless multi-channel commerce via data-driven, omni-channel media solutions fueled by the world's largest commerce data assets.

The National Account Executive will be a motivated self-starter responsible for building and growing relationships with Fortune 1000 / IR 500 brand marketers as well as agencies on the West Coast. The ideal candidate should have a passion for commerce driven data and have a pulse for new multi-channel advertising technologies such as mobile, video and social. He/She should have existing client & agency experience, and have some digital, display and/or mobile expertise. The individual will need to think strategically, anticipate how decisions are made, uncover the business needs of key clients and have a proven ability to close deals. Additionally, this executive will be the consummate team-player and have the ability to work collaboratively within a fluid and fast paced environment. This position will have a specific annual revenue goal with uncapped earning potential. The position will be based in Tempe, Los Angeles or San Francisco and will report directly to the West Coast Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and successfully execute an on-target strategy to accomplish established revenue goals

- Manage all aspects of the sales process including prospect identification, presentation, negotiation, service and renewal

- Develop key relationships with advertisers, brands, and agencies.

- Achieve minimum weekly client meeting and communication volume requirements.

- Work collaboratively with internal teams to generate client specific marketing solutions/ideas for all assigned accounts

- Provide solid marketplace feedback and identify opportunities that enhance product, marketing and revenue

- Build and maintain a strong knowledge of EAP products, solutions, and technologies

- Represent eBay Enterprise at marketing and advertising events

- Report and forecast territory sales efforts accurately and timely Job Requirements Minimum of 1+ years online advertising sales experience with verified success Proven knowledge of cross channel digital media (display, mobile, video and/or social) and strong understanding of online advertising technologies and landscape trends. Knowledge of DSP space, data exchanges or history working with a first-party data provider is preferred but not a requirement. Proven track record of strategically building a client base and servicing leading advertising agencies and direct clients; demonstrate past success and established relationships. Must be able to generate creative, on-target ideas and see them through Ability to simplify complex concepts and persuade prospects to try new services Must be a strong negotiator and have creative, compelling, and persuasive presentation skills An aggressive self-starter with superior consultative sales and relationship building skills. Energetic, polished, and articulate with a positive "can do" attitude Experience with SalesForce.com or other on-demand CRM applications is preferred The ability to adapt and thrive in a complex, matrixed and fast paced environment BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record Education Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
