Job Description

We have an exciting new opportunity in our Canton office for an Administrative Assistant. This is a hybrid role that includes providing traditional Administrative Assistant support to the New England Zone Vice President, while also functioning as a Community Coordinator. The goal is for this individual to be promoted into a full-time Community Coordinator.

The Community Coordination activities are focused on the development and implementation of the Siemens Municipal Partnership Program. Specifically, this will include assisting in the development of the program, interfacing with local municipal stakeholders, securing participation, and coordinating program activities. The primary focus of the community activities is in enhancing local schools STEM education programs and facilitating activities to enhance workforce development specifically related to Siemens Building Technologies entry level technical positions.

Additional Responsibilities:

* Management of calendar for internal and external appointments, meetings and travel.

* Coordination of meetings, workshops and other activities.

* Document preparations e.g. monthly financial reports.

* Travel planning and coordination.

* Phone coverage as necessary.

* Networking within Siemens to identify and secure support for the program.

Requirements:

* Bachelors Degree preferred, with an emphasis on Public Policy desired.

* An interest and experience in community outreach is preferred.

* Core administrative requirements including planning, coordination, and professional communications skills.

* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

* Must be a team player and be willing to help in all areas as needed.
