This position is responsible for overseeing the analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of Enterprise solutions and provides solution guidance and sign-off as part of product delivery as defined by the current SDLC. This position analyzes and investigates applications engineering tasks and prepares architectural requirements, design specifications, analysis, and recommendations

Requirements

  • Responsible for the execution of the application development and support roadmap
  • Defines the essential core design features of a project and ensures that the necessary documentation is provided.
  • Interacts with key personnel to define application strategies, requirements, design, and necessary enhancements to execute the Information Technology Roadmap and to manage the IT lifecycle.
  • Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Meets with Technical Leads and Development Leads to develop high level solution design.
  • Is responsible for the sign-off of detailed solution design as designated by the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle)
  • Provides development assistance on complex or challenging software services.
  • Participates in the development of proof of concept, pilots and other research and development related to technology.
  • Participates in technology life cycle management
  • Provides feedback to Enterprise on new opportunities for emerging and current technology
  • Works to sunset variant and non-standard technologies.
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Works with Application Managers and Development Managers on upgrade paths for legacy applications.
