DICK’S SportingGoods is seeking a Big Box Retail Store Manager open to relocation or commuting around Johnson City, TN. You will be responsible for driving companyobjectives in profit and loss control, sales performance, customersatisfaction, and shrink results. StoreManagers are also responsible for leading customer interaction and associatetalent development on a daily basis within their store.



Essential Functions of this positioninclude:

· Drive sales and profitability throughcustomer satisfaction and report analysis

· Develop payroll plans and monitorpayroll daily to ensure the plan is met

· Ensure efficient day-to-dayoperation of the store

· Uphold DICK’S Sporting Goodsstandards for merchandise presentation

· Participate or lead the recruiting,interviewing, and hiring for hourly and salaried associates

· Lead consistent evaluation anddevelopment of in-store talent

· Issue appropriate counseling anddisciplinary action to associates who fail to meet our performance standards

· Drive shrink results throughcompliance to all guidelines involved with safety, loss prevention, andcash-handling procedures

Success Profile:

· 3 years Retail Store Managerexperience (Big Box preferred) or 5 years of related management experiencerequired

· World-class customer service skilland interpersonal/communication skills

· Strong problem-solving ability andanalytical skills

· Proficiency in MS Office

· Flexible availability – includingnights, weekend, and holidays

· Ability to meet Federal requirementsfor handling and processing firearm transactions
