On The Border has been providing great service in a fun, team environment for over thirty years. We are seeking fun, talented Team Members to join our team!
POSITION SUMMARY:
OTB Service Assistants are a key to delivering great guest Service. We call it No Borders Service. Service Assistants work together with the Servers to ensure that they provide an Every Guest is My Guest experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet guests seated in the dining room.
- Deliver chips and salsa to tables that have just been seated.
- Assist in cleaning tables and re-setting for the next guest
- Maintain clean environment by emptying trash, keeping bathrooms clean and keeping service areas clean and neat
- Adhere to all company policies and specifications
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Team Player, ability to work within a fast paced, team environment
- Valid Food Worker Card (if required by state or county)
- Prefer a minimum of six months of restaurant experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests, managers and team members
- Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time (100% of shift)
