Primary Responsibilities:



  • Expand the existing managed care network penetration for existing customers

  • Coordinate and influence superior customer service delivery developing and maintaining strong intercompany relationships

  • Develop and monitor client financial performance including renewal planning, negotiation and profitability levels

  • Secure new business through marketing and effective product and service expansion

  • Establish and maintain strong and appropriate relationships with customers and consultants; ensure Senior Manager has customer specific high level/board level decision making contacts

  • Demonstrate marketing and technical expertise through: Client, broker and consultant meetings. Assessment of approach, resources, and contacts needed to complete RFPs

  • Preparation for and participation in, new business site visits and finalist presentations. Provide feedback to management on market trends as represented by our clients

  • Maintain a high level of healthcare industry knowledge as well as customer's industry

  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance, communication and collection of customer's fee revenue and insured premiums (DSO) in collaboration with finance and collections department

  • Player Coach role for the region that may have direct reports as well as having the primary responsibility for the strategy (SAE/AVP) for a book of business

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Experience with Public Sector/Municipality/Union sales retention

  • Bachelor's degree or 10+ years relevant sales experience

  • 10+ years experience using of data analysis to drive change

  • 10+ years experience meeting sales goals

  • 10+ years experience in customer relationships

  • 10+ years experience of people management

  • 5+ years proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Sales insurance license maintained by law

  • Must maintain valid driver's license

  • Willingness to travel as required
