POSITION SUMMARY

The ActiveHealth Account Executive will have overall relationship management for the Aetna consumer and medicaid businesses across all aspects of the program (Product, IT, Care Management, etc.) The AE owns successful execution of the program, drives client strategy, ensures client profitability, identifies and solutions for barriers to program success. Consumer and Medicaid business advocate within ActiveHealth Management.

Fundamental Components:

The ActiveHealth Management Account Executive position is responsible for overall relationship management across all aspects of the program. This person will be responsible for the following:

1. Successful execution of the customer's program

2. Ensures client profitability

3. Drives strategy and collaborates with internal cross-functional teams to deliver; builds multi-year roadmap

4. Customer advocate within ActiveHealth

5. Identifies solutions for barriers to program success

6. Monitors program performance and implements changes/enhancements where needed

7. Delivers financial proposals/renewals

8. Becomes indispensable partner to client

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

1. Account Management experience within Aetna or other large carrier, minimum 3 years experience

2. Minimum of Bachelors degree, Masters degree preferred

3. Proven leadership skills

4. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

5. Proven success with strategic planning and execution

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Insurance/Life and Health Insurance License is desired

FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES

Functional - Sales & Service/Account Management/4-6 Years

Functional - Customer Service/Customer Service - Plan Sponsor - Account installation/1-3 Years

Functional - Planning/Strategic/4-6 Years

Telework Specifications:

This position needs to work very closely with the Aetna Consumer Business team, A person that works in the Hartford corporate office is ideal.
