POSITION SUMMARY
Assist in the development and execution of collaboration agreements with providers that produce significant market and revenue growth for Aetna, its subsidiaries and the provider partner(s); responsible for internal deal coordination w/adjunct team and key stakeholders; may lead smaller engagements (attribution or single system); ensures current, accurate reporting and documentation; escalates deal challenges as appropriate
Fundamental Components:
- Current/previous experience within hospital, integrated delivery system, large IPA, etc. is strongly desired;
- Experience in a senior level sales role within healthcare with a focus on Health IT is desired;
- Superior ability to present to, engage and consultatively sell to C-Suite customers;
- Track record of closing multi-million dollar solution sales in healthcare environment;
- Current/previous experience within health insurance/managed care in a sales or business development role is required;
- Proven experience generating new business through c-suite relationships, brokers, consultants and direct prospecting;
- Superior oral/written communications skills;
- Ability to effectively manage internal relationships on cross selling opportunities;
- Proven experience collaborating within corporate environment to get results
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
Sales & Service/Health Information Exchange, Clinical/Financial Decision Support, Analytics, Care Management, Third Party Administrator services.
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a MBA.
