SHIFT: 8HOUR, Day EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time HRS PER PAY PERIOD: 80 JOB ID: 1500014148
Mercy Hospital of Folsom , a member of Dignity Health, is currently looking for a Registered Nurse to join their Pre-Surgery team. The Registered Nurse provides, coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach in the PACU and ACU departments. The Nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally.
Requirements:
At least 1+ year as a ACU/PACU RN in an acute care setting or similar experience.
1+ year critical care experience is preferred.
Candidates must have a current California RN License
ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association.
Other certifications may be required.
PALS within 6 months of hire.
The incumbent shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Mercy Hospital of Folsom and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health.
