About this job

We are seeking an ambitious RN that is excited for the opportunity to gain exposure and training in multiple departments. This role will begin and cover the OB then branch out into other departments following. If you are looking for variety, experience and training then this is the position for you! The Registered Nurse collaborates with other members of the health care team and uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. The RN assesses, monitors, detects, plans and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment.

Basic Qualifications:

Education - Associate's Degree in Nursing, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role on or after February 1, 2013

Licenses - Registered Nurse (RN)

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 Days of hire

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 Days of hire

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) PALS or ENPC required within 90 Days of hire

Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) within 90 Days of hire

NIH Stroke Certification within 90 Days of hire

Preferred Qualifications: Education: Bachelors of Nursing

Experience - 1 year of experience in healthcare setting
