Description
Medline Industries, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Director of Sales. This person will be responsible for selling our line of urology products. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid education, a background in selling urological products and a desire to work for a fast-paced, large corporate organization. In addition to exceptional sales and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.
- Work with the IPS sales team to execute short and long term sales initiatives
- Identify and target key customer accounts
- Work closely with the acute care facilities and sales reps
- Craft and deliver presentations to sales forces and customers
- Consult with customers to determine the correct product mix
- Coordinate customer product evaluations and implementations
- Assist Medline sales reps with questions via email, phone or in person
- Call on health care facilities with Medline sales representatives to expand the sales of the products
- Troubleshoot and communicate to work through implementation obstacles
- Participate with division on overall product strategy, competitive analyses, research and development requirements as well as other duties as assigned
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional pieces and packaging design
Qualification

- Specialist or high-level product manager with experience in Urologicals
- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA Preferred.
- 3 to 5 years previous experience in Urology
- Clinical background /previous healthcare experience are preferred
- Registered Nurse experience welcomed
- Excellent presentation skills for large and small groups
- Excellent organizational, planning, communication and follow up skills required
- Must have strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite including Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Travel required up to 75% of the time
