Description



Medline Industries, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Director of Sales. This person will be responsible for selling our line of urology products. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid education, a background in selling urological products and a desire to work for a fast-paced, large corporate organization. In addition to exceptional sales and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.
  • Work with the IPS sales team to execute short and long term sales initiatives
  • Identify and target key customer accounts
  • Work closely with the acute care facilities and sales reps
  • Craft and deliver presentations to sales forces and customers
  • Consult with customers to determine the correct product mix
  • Coordinate customer product evaluations and implementations
  • Assist Medline sales reps with questions via email, phone or in person
  • Call on health care facilities with Medline sales representatives to expand the sales of the products
  • Troubleshoot and communicate to work through implementation obstacles
  • Participate with division on overall product strategy, competitive analyses, research and development requirements as well as other duties as assigned
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional pieces and packaging design

  • Specialist or high-level product manager with experience in Urologicals
  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA Preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years previous experience in Urology
  • Clinical background /previous healthcare experience are preferred
    • Registered Nurse experience welcomed
  • Excellent presentation skills for large and small groups
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication and follow up skills required
  • Must have strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite including Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Travel required up to 75% of the time
