Position Summary:

Accountable for the day-to-day operations of the shop, promoting a positive and productiveenvironment. Lead, coach and develop store coworkers, and recruit and retain top talent. Maximize financial goals and manage Customer Relations and Customer Satisfaction. Leading by example and promoting our company values the Shop Manager sets the tone for a customer-centric environment. Analyzes shop's financial statements to ensure financial goals are met, makes adjustments as necessary. Commits to company asset protection through inventory control, following policies and procedures and securing customer's loans. With the use of internal and external marketing tools promotes shop and targets new customer acquisition.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Facilitates a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing any customer issues
Monitors and assists in the training of Pawnbrokers and Sales and Loan Associates so their development meets the prescribed Cash America standards
Recruits top talent, sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels
Administers processes and procedures within the shop, which include inventory, managing loans, merchandising, shop presentation, shop systems, and FSC reporting
Evaluates shop financial statements and drives profitability through communication and goal setting
Ensures that operating standards meet or exceed Cash America standards
Monitors loan qualification and buy processes to ensure value and integrity of all loans issued
Completes assigned tasks and training for self-development as requested
Communicates clearly and precisely to coworkers to ensure that all coworkers understand shop mission and profit objectives
Remains up to date on product knowledge
Partners with Human Resources to administer progressive discipline within company-prescribed guidelines
Other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 18 years of age
Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
Previous people management experience
Entrepreneurial spirit
Strong desire to work, serve customers and work with people; team oriented
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Cash handling experience required
High energy sales personality with knowledge of jewelry and general merchandise
Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Analytical skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent work ethic and strong business sense
Computer literate and able to use common office machines
