This internship is located in Redmond, WA in the Honeywell Aerospace division that develops flight safety avionics and communication systems. This is exciting opportunity for an impactful internship that leverages the skills learned through your information management coursework. This opportunity is within the Engineering & Technology organization. This role is an integral part of the engineering leadership team and you will work directly with the managers and senior managers of the organization to help drive impactful business results.
The core function of this internship is to utilize Honeywell Operating System (HOS) concepts to apply data analysis methods to data to provide useful business intelligence. You will work with the team to develop models relative to future business performance based on historical data. You will consider the user experience of the systems you develop. You will also learn about program management concepts and be able to apply those concepts through your work. You will apply and enhance your knowledge of computer programming and basic statistical methods.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in Master of Science degree program in Information Management.
Due to ITAR Restrictions, US Citizenship or US Lawful Permanent Resident Status is required.
Must be able to complete an internship prior to graduating.
Additional Qualifications:
Specialization in data science and analytics desired
Leadership and excellent communication will be a major enabler for this role
Ability to network through the team and organization
Prefers a fast, dynamic environment; Strong organizational skills
