Requirements
- This is a Seasonal Position that has the potential to become permanent
- Part-Time availability must include weekends. This is when our Guests need us, so this is when we need you.
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Ability to drive automatic & manual transmission
This position requires a Pre-Hire Assessment as part of the application process. For best results we recommend you complete the assessment in one seating without any interruptions or distractions and therefore advise that you begin the application process when you can dedicate 20-30 minutes of uninterrupted time to apply for this opening.
What you will be doing
- Handle all aspects of Valet Parking and Luggage Assistance, which can include:
- Welcome all guests and visitors to the hotel
- Ticket and Tag vehicles, keys, and luggage as appropriate
- Assist guests with unloading luggage
- Survey vehicle for existing damages
- Drive and park vehicles safely
- Offer general assistance as needed
- Store luggage as necessary
- Deliver / retrieve luggage to / from guestrooms
- Informing guests about hotel features and amenities
- Satisfying special requests whenever possible
- Find solutions quickly, and confidently address and resolve guest concerns
- Remain flexible and adaptable in a consistently busy environment
- Collaborate with all hotel departments and utilize your knowledge of hotel operations
- Provide information to help our guests enjoy Venice Beach and Los Angeles as a whole
- Relate to guests in a friendly and helpful manner
- Ensure satisfaction by going the extra mile
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs
