The RN Manager of the Multi-Specialty department receives direction operationally from the Vice President of Clinic Operations and  gives direction to clinical support staff members of the Endocrinology, Rheumatology, and Neurology teams.  This manager works cooperatively with team physicians and supports the overall vision of a Positive Patient Experience by achieving a positive balance of healthcare, cost outcomes and patient satisfaction on specific teams.  Facilitates excellent customer satisfaction while achieving team and facility specific financial goals.  Supports the Specialty Care Team by providing leadership and promoting collaboration with internal and external team members.  Accountable for the patient experience through the system.  Ensures that care meets the individualized goals of the treatment plan.  Ensures standards of care are implemented and compliance with all state and federal regulations, standards of practice, and SMA and UHG policies and procedures.


 


M-F 8am-5pm

 


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for the coordination and quality of care of the Endocrinology, Rheumatology, and Neurology departments

  • Participate in the interview, selection, orientation and development of clinical staff

  • Supervise/evaluate clinical staff for compliance with all SMA and UHG policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, and standards of practice

  • Facilitate outpatient care coordination and patient specific outcomes

  • Participate in community outreach program including limited weekend or evening responsibilities as dictated by the nature of the position

  • Familiar with budgeting, establishing short/ long-term goals including implementation and follow-through for positive process outcomes/improvement and the ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment

  • Ability to partner with  Primary Care Clinics to ensure positive patient outcomes

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


  • Current unrestricted RN in the state of NV

  • 3+ years of nursing experience, preferably in ambulatory care

  • 3+ years of supervisor or management experience in a healthcare environment
  • Must be able to float to various SMA clinic locations
  • CPR/BLS

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Multi-specialty experience

  • Neurology, Rheumatology, Endocrinology

  • Ambulatory Care experience

  • Budgeting experience
