As a Senior Project Manager - STARs Member Navigators, you'll shift scope definition, risk identification, methodology and resource allocation to a gear you didn't even know you have. This is a newly created role to support the Community and State DSNP Stars Member Navigator Program. This program is comprised of non-clinical staff performing and documenting member outreach both telephonically and in-person to close STARs gaps in care nationally for dual special needs plan members. This Program entails 53 FTE's across the country who works directly with our membership in a face to face role as a liaison and advocate for each members need in obtaining needed care and resources.


 


The Senior Project Manager will work closely with the Program Director to assist in data mining and ensuring that member lists are created and QA'd, Care Management System Reporting is maintained and queued up for each Navigator across the country.


 


In addition, this position will perform in a Business Services Liaison role (approximately 15% of their time) to support the Navigator Team.


 


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Lead or help develop program or project scope statements, in consultation with applicable stakeholders (e.g., program/project charter, Statement of Work, Business Vision Document)
  • Work with resource managers to drive the identification of the skills, duration and effort required for successful project execution
  • Collect, analyze and maintain financial forecast information (e.g., labor, hardware, software), using input from applicable sources
  • Establish/apply quality objectives, criteria, standards and levels using appropriate quality management methods, with stakeholder input (e.g., key performance indicators, scope definition)
  • Develop, communicate and implement program/project risk/issue management plans and strategies (e.g., mitigation, avoidance, transfer, and acceptance)

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • BA/BS degree and/or equivalent education and work experience
  • 3+ years of health care member engagement and outreach project management experience, ideally within UHG and impacting STARs performance
  • 3+ years of experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions
  • 3+ years manipulating large healthcare data sets
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership within and across departments
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently prioritize and balance multiple projects and deadlines

 


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of managed health care experience, ideally within UHG
  • 1+ years UHG Business Services Liaison (BSL) experience
  • Experience in SQL, SPSS, or SAS
