Position manages, directs, and coordinates vending activities of company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Staffing Goals:
  • Coordinates activities of department with related activities of other departments to ensure efficiency.
  • Works with the Executional Excellence Trainer and the HR Department to ensure appropriate orientation and training is conducted for new personnel.

General:
  • Understands vending route responsibilities and may ride with route personnel from time to time. May have to act as replacement of route drivers and/or attendants and perform their daily responsibilities.
  • Notes condition of vehicles and keeps records of repairs and maintenance.
  • Reviews warehouse inventory to ensure proper turnover, assortment and number of units.
  • Reviews service location requests for service; determines hours, number of personnel, merchandise required to complete request.
  • Reviews daily service card orders of service location. Order warehouse products from sales information.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with contacts.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems.
  • Operates Canteen vehicle safely and follow weekly maintenance schedule, clean service vehicle inside and out on an as needed basis.
  • Responsible for performing all job duties in a safe manner.


Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 6 to 25 employees in the Vending area. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, Executional Excellence standards and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Certificates, Licenses Registrations: Executional Excellence Certification, Food Sanitation Certification, DOT Medical Certificate, Valid Motor Vehicle, and Good Driving Record
