JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of up to 36 sides of twisting machines. This number increases when another fixer is absent.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY: Must have strong knowledge of a twisting machine. Candidate will strobe machines for slow spindles, perform preventative maintenance, repair breakdowns while minimizing downtime, have willingness to work extended hours, understand the fundamentals of air and electricity, general housekeeping, ability to efficiently perform a changeover, practice all blast principles, and all other duties as described by the company.

Supervision Received: Department manager and Supervisor

Authority and Accountabilities: Ability to follow instructions, work under pressure, maintain overall housekeeping of the work area, practice blast based safety, and efficiently keep machine up so that it produces a quality product.

Work Environment: Areas of extreme heat in summer and cold areas in winter.

Job Qualifications:
A. Training/Education/License/Certification/Registrations/Minimum Requirements: Basic computer skills, able to read and write in English, basic math, and ability to see colors. Ability to speak Spanish a plus.

B. Experience Minimum Requirements: Experience in maintenance

C. Physical Requirements: Able to continuously lift 50-75 pounds. Able to lift, pull, push, walk, bend, and possibly lay on concrete (when needed) for 12 hours.
