CAD Drafter

Job Description

The CAD Drafters will be responsible for doing AutoCAD conversion work. They will be transferring phone and cable records from AutoCAD to Microstation and plotting different utility poles and electrical lines for cities and towns. Some candidates will work exclusively with AutoCAD, while others will work exclusively with Microstation.

Drafters will be doing red line drawings as well as mark-ups on previously existing drawings.

First couple weeks the drafter will be training with senior members of the team. After training will be put on to a team

Qualifications
1. Candidate must have experience using AutoCAD within the past 6 months
2. Must have a minimum of 2 CAD courses from a school setting
3. Must have the desire to work in a drafting role.
4. Must be open to learning new software
5. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

* Candidate will work in the office 100% of the time. Will not be out in the field
