About this job
A major food and beverage manufacturing plant in Savannah, GA is in need of a Quality Control Laboratory Technician. This is an entry level position that requires constant documentation and production monitoring. The Lab Tech will be working 12 hour shifts during high production times, and 8 hour shifts during low production. This position requires constant standing and walking around the facility to gather samples and bring them back to the lab. The sample testing is a basic as pH, viscosity, density, and bacteria checks.
All applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
Applicants must have at least 2 years of work experience while in school or after.
