Summary
The Field Service Technician position is a highly skilled technician level where the employee is capable of a full workload. The individual is responsible for the timely and cost effective maintenance and repair of equipment and for promoting and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Maximize effective and efficient service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Manage the utilization of assets through Point of Sale (POS) system.
* Analyze customer needs and make recommendations.
* Communication and interact with customers, technical management, and administration in a way that is courteous, positive and professional.
* Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time and error-free.
* Provide accurate feedback with calls, close information, part ordering.
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Have the ability to pull, reach, and transport equipment, parts and boxes.
Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required)
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to troubleshoot and think independently.
* Must be able to problem solve, conduct written and verbal communication, read and comprehend technical information
Computer Skills
* Proficiency using MS Office, e.g., Excel, Word and the internet for research
* Knowledge of Microsoft, Mac & Linux operating systems
* Knowledge of workstation backups and restores
* Knowledge of desktops, laptops, and servers
* Knowledge of utility tools; including virus removal applications and recovery tools
Education and/or Experience
* A+ certification preferred
* Cabling experience preferred
* 5 years Experience (REQUIRED)
Job Requirements
* Be able to pass a drug test and background check
* Must have a reliable vehicle
* Must have a valid driver license and insurance
* Must have 3 Professional Business References on Resume
