Production Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is in need of a technician for the pre-packaged facility. They will be performing all around mechanical and electrical work, PM work, and fixing things when they break down. Shift will be 4pm- 12am Monday-Saturday with Wednesdays off, pay is $17- $25/ hour, based on how they interview and prior experience.

-Light Preventative Maintenance
-Some Electrical Troubleshooting/PLC work
-Not much Hydralics work
-Machine Change overs (Very repetative work could frustrate some senior techs.)
-No Certs are required
-Would like somebody in the Food Service/Food Processing field
-Do do work with Conveyors however not very long ones and not usual
-Do a lot of work with Pneumatics

General Summary
Maintain all production support equipment to ensure maximum availability and reliability, including various corrective and preventative maintenance activities on all equipment within the Kitchen facility
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Perform general maintenance tasks, preventive maintenance tasks.
2.Order parts and reconcile packaging slips with Invoices in preparation for payment.
3.Coordinate outside contractors, as needed, to perform needed repairs.
4.Maintain inventory of basic parts.
5.Responsible for upkeep of basic painting and building maintenance.
6.Inspect and diagnose problems and determine the best way to correct them, frequently checking blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs.
7.Use common hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, saws, drills, wrenches and hammers as well as specialized equipment and electronic testing devices.
8.Replace or repair worn or broken parts where necessary or make adjustments to correct malfunctioning equipment and machines.
9.General maintenance, perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
10.Follow checklists, including inspection of drives, motors and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance functions.
11.Communicate and maintain safety and security standards.
12.Participate in facility Safety committee meetings.
13.Consistently communicate, uphold and embody standards, vision and Philosophy.
14.Establish and maintain positive and productive vendor relationships. Regulatory Compliance Maintain comprehensive comprehensive knowledge of and ensure compliance with relevant regularity rules.
