About this job

We are now hiring for a level 3 electrician. This person is responsible for the ongoing electrical maintenance and upkeep of all plant electrical equipment. To insure that all plant equipment and facilities are inspected, maintained and repaired on a timely and cost-effective basis. The incumbent shall be highly concerned for the safety of him/her self and co-workers and follow all safety rules procedures and processes.

Qualifications:

Familiar with cement process flow and equipment functions preferred.
Familiar and able to perform work following NFPA codes
Able to troubleshoot, repair or replace motors, transformers, VFD'S, starters, breakers, disconnects, fuses, electrical interlocks, temperature and pressure transmitters and similar devices with a high degree of skilled technical competency
Able to trouble shoot and repair instrumentation and electronic circuits.
Able to troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic electrical control circuits
Able to assemble, install, set-up and maintain electrical, electronic and instrumentation devices.
Able to use PLC and PC programs and be familiar relay logic, programmable controller logic and with computer hardware.
Able to read blueprints and schematic diagrams and maintain as-found/as-built mark-ups
Able to use plant SCADA/HMI system to make modifications and assist in process control trouble shooting.
Requires qualifications received from an approved electrical training program or other institution.

PAY: 26.12 is the base pay - top out pay is 30/hour.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working conditions; Work is performed inside and outside in all weather conditions, in dust, chemical and gas fumes, moderate to extreme noise levels.
