Tier 1 & Tier 2 Automotive Supplier in Harrodsburg, KY is seeking 6 production engineers to join their team!! Company is looking for individuals that have a strong electrical background, and are willing to learn new skills and take on new challenges. Expect to work on the floor for about 50% of the time and behind a computer 50% of the time doing programming and design.
Job Description:
This position is working as a Production Engineer in the ECU- Electronic Control Unit group. They will be working on the ECU which are the test stands on the production engineering floor. They are seeking candidates very heavy on the electrical engineering side.
You would be responsible for working with, but not limited to...
- PLC programing
- Read ladder logic
- Visual Basic
- Design schematics in Solidworks
- SQL read schematics/wiring diagrams
- C#, C++
- Networking Skills
A typical day at work would include...
- Quoting, schedule installations/duct work, supporting installs
- Trouble shooting/reduce cycle times
- Project management/ hands on PLC's
- Robot programming
Qualifications:
- Individual must have Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechan-tronic Degree or relevant experience
- Strong electrical background preferred
- Experience in automotive industry preferred
They will consider candidates with Computer Science degree, but those candidates must express they want to be hands on Production Engineering. They will still be doing a lot of computer programming but with production equipment.
Hours are 7:00 - 4:00 from Monday - Friday. Minimal OT is expected, prepare to work 45-50 hours a week. Company has interview times available the week of 6/1!
