Position summaryT-Mobile USA is a leading provider of digital Global System for Mobile Communications/General Packet Radio Service (GSM/GPRS) wireless voice and data technology standards. Developers, Web located in Bellevue, WA will provide tangible business value to represented web sites by maintaining workflow and jointly developing web-based applications for internal customers. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain business ownerships of assigned sections of the websites, developing relationships to ensure quality, integrity, continuity, and streamlined messaging for impacted customers.
  • Engage in strategic planning to meet business requirements and Service Level Agreements, and comprehend web reports to assess analytical behaviors from a usability standpoint.
  • Design, develop, code, test, debug, and maintain database-driven websites web applications for ASP, .NET, and SharePoint application servers.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications.
  • Assist in requirements gathering, research, and fact finding to develop, refresh, or modify web systems and the capturing of detailed specification for programs; assist in preparing detailed specifications for programs.
  • Identify, explore, and demonstrate new technologies related to web development; conduct an ongoing analysis of the organization's IT infrastructure to determine product compatibility.
  • Provide on call and after hours support as required for production releases and to respond and provide Tier 4 support on production outages.


Functional and technical skill requirements:
  • Experience (1) utilizing SQL, ASP, .NET, JavaScript, XML, XHTML, and FLEX.
  • Experience (2) creating and consuming SOAP based and JSON/REST web services and communicating with systems.
  • Experience (3) performing web design, including navigational structures, visualization/graphics, and content management.
  • Experience (4) designing and developing applications on one RDBMS (Oracle or SQL 2008/2012).
  • Experience (5) managing projects with multiple business units.
  • Experience (6) developing mobile learning solutions using HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript and developing mobile applications for Android, Windows Mobile, and iOS.
Experience and education requirements:
  • PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field or the foreign equivalent and 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field or the foreign equivalent and 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate relevant work experience.
