As a Finance Manager at PepsiCo, you will be the key Finance contact responsible for providing the financial expertise and recommendations that enable effective decision-making within the business. The Finance Manager will be the key finance contact for the Mountain region team and will provide overall leadership for the period end results, preparation of forecasts, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Innovation Growth or Integrated Business Plans, along with financial analysis, reporting and budgeting. They will lead the annual, quarterly and periodic cost planning and performance management processes.
Key Accountabilities:
Support regional cost objectives through strong business partnering and analytical insight
Drive labor productivity agenda
Lead planning and forecasting responsibility for Go To Market (GTM) cost functions
Function as strategic partner to Sr. Director - Sales Support, and other key members of the region team
Provide period/QBP forecasts for functional cost centers
Collaborate with HQ Supply Chain Finance on planning/forecasting processes
Track labor productivity and provide insights on performance, and partner with functional managers to address opportunities
Support delivery of region's productivity initiatives
Provide leadership and support to achieve region discretionary spending and waste reductions
Conduct variance analysis and location level support during the period close process
Build financial and process literacy across 50+ locations
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree Required (Finance or Business Administration preferred)
MBA preferred, CPA is a plus.
Work Experience:
7 - 10 years of practical exposure, ideally with supervisory experience, in some of the following areas: Financial Planning and Analysis, evaluating business performance, Financial Accounting and Control. Functional finance experience is a plus (e.g. Marketing, Sales, R&D, Operations, Procurement etc.)
Skills & Capabilities:
Experience with forecasting and budgeting
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
Ability to function effectively in a team environment and gain the cooperation of individuals across the organization
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management
Strong influencing skills
Results-oriented with ability to initiate and lead projects to completion
Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications
