General Responsibilities:
Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC), one of the largest suppliers of rented industrial & construction equipment, seeks talented people for a Shop Supervisor position at our Tonawanda, NY location. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated self-starters who want to enhance their skills with a company whose reputation speaks for itself.
You'll be responsible for training, appraising, and supervising shop personnel utilizing the most cost and effective means for maintenance and repair of all rental and service Equipment. You will also insure all service calls are handled in a professional manner.
Mandatory Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of Internal Combustion Engines (both gas and diesel), DC Electrical Systems, Propane Systems, Hydraulics, Track Equipment, Aerial Equipment, and Heavy Trucks/Automotive Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot: Fuel Systems, Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems, and Propane Systems. Able to perform complete repair and overhaul functions Basic welding techniques Maintains a safe and clean work environment Maintain a clean driving record Hertz is a Drug-Free Workplace.
